Actually I bought a Gift Card for my daughter for Christmas and will give it to her Christmas Day. So I haven't actually;;y used the card to purchase anything.
Thank You
My co-worker keeps a bottle of this in the office fridge for anyone who needs it. I was skeptical but I’ve seen it tame quite a few coughs. I’ve got a cold with a nasty cough and thought I’d give it a try. I can breathe deep without coughing for the first time in days. Just bout a bottle for myself and picked up another to try too!
I love this syrup and have purchased it at various stores throughout the bay over the years! I would give five stars if they offered a version that is alcohol free with glycerin instead of brandy. I'd be ordering by the case and taking it daily. I appreciate that the alcohol is gluten free, but even small amounts of alcohol (even the amount in vinegar) are hard for me to tolerate so I'm not able to take this regularly. Otherwise this syrup quality and ingredients are amazing. I hope they will consider making a formula sans alcohol or vinegar with glycerin or honey instead.
Best medication I have taken I had a very heavy. Flow and it would last me longer than seven days. I took this syrup and now I have my period for five days which should be normal. Also, only two days period was heavy Compared to having it heavy until my period ended, I recommend this product. You won’t be disappointed.
I love all the medicines so much, but the amount of sugar is just too much. Admittedly, I'm working on other areas where I can cut back on sugar in my diet. I will have to pause on these until I can keep things under control.
Hi Jessica,
Thank you for your review!
Our syrups are sweet indeed, though we use local, raw honey, not refined sugar.
To extract constituents from plants, herbalists traditionally either use alcohol, vinegar, honey, or water. This medicine is as sweet as it is to both extract and preserve without additives or chemicals, using honey and water extraction.
The result is a traditional herbal syrup. If you are finding them too sweet to take a spoonful (or swig) of, try diluting them in bubbly water with a squeeze of lemon for a yummy beverage or adding a couple of tablespoons to your tea.
Anemia runs in my family, and while I seem to wax and wane with it, my FMP and nutritionist recommended this, and I LOVE it. It tastes delicious! Not sure if it's because of the title but I do feel stronger.
